Contract Closeout Specialist
Customer: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a Department of Defense (DoD) combat support agency and a member of the national Intelligence Community (IC). NGA develops imagery and map-based intelligence solutions for U.S. national defense, homeland security, and safety of navigation. NGA's mission is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate geospatial intelligence in support of national security. The NGA Vision is Know the Earth...Show the Way. Due to NGA's role as the GEOINT functional manager for the DoD and IC, there will be a number of organizations outside of NGA with requirements for FTEs utilizing this contract vehicle.
Position Description:
Experience with Federal Contract closeouts processes, procedures and execution. Relevant experience in this area should include preparing contracts for closure, generation of closeout documents, performance of contract closeout actions and data entry. Assists project team members with data gathering and research, organizes data and project documents, and assists Task Lead in the development of deliverables. Conducts Internet and document research, manages team databases and knowledge repositories, takes notes during meetings and interviews, drafts process flow diagrams, contributes to project reports, training materials, and other deliverables.
