Computer Systems Analyst
Customer: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a Department of Defense (DoD) combat support agency and a member of the national Intelligence Community (IC). NGA develops imagery and map-based intelligence solutions for U.S. national defense, homeland security, and safety of navigation. NGA's mission is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate geospatial intelligence in support of national security. The NGA Vision is Know the Earth...Show the Way. Due to NGA's role as the GEOINT functional manager for the DoD and IC, there will be a number of organizations outside of NGA with requirements for FTEs utilizing this contract vehicle.
Position Description: Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
