Information Assurance Specialist/Advisor
Customer: National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is a Department of Defense (DoD) combat support agency and a member of the national Intelligence Community (IC). NGA develops imagery and map-based intelligence solutions for U.S. national defense, homeland security, and safety of navigation. NGA's mission is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate geospatial intelligence in support of national security. The NGA Vision is Know the Earth...Show the Way. Due to NGA's role as the GEOINT functional manager for the DoD and IC, there will be a number of organizations outside of NGA with requirements for FTEs utilizing this contract vehicle.
Position Description: Develop security architectures, and engineering system specifications. Conduct strategic planning and recommend implementation strategies. Advise and assist government on security and privacy policy, trusted product assessment, enterprise security engineering, secure systems management, penetration and exploitation, insider threat analysis and protection, cyber situation awareness, attack sensing and warning, secure wireless networking and mobile computing, secure operating systems, secure workstations, secure data management, secure web technology, and secure protocols, authentication.
